Hi. My name is Nooraini Nasir. Noor meaning light and Aini meaning eyes, that meant I am the light of my parents eyes. My father, Nasir means kind hearted. Born under the zodiac month of Taurus and the Chinese calendar year of the Pig, that mean I am earthly bound. How do I see myself? Like any other baby, I was born beautiful and I have grown up gracefully.
1 year old 1997 I am the eldest of six children and the only one who is still single among my sibling. Growing up in the 60's with uncles and cousins, our kampong house was always full of laughter and tears. We were the first house in the kampong to own a television set. So in the evening our house became almost a community center. I still remember in the year before Singapore when separated from Malaysia to be independent nation there was a riot. I was first introduce to songs by the Carpenters during me secondary school years and ABBA in my late teens. Have always loves song from the 60's especially Andy William, The Patters, Dionne Warwick, The Supremes, just to name a few. The Bee Gees's record breaking from the movie Saturday Fever and Break Dance in the early 80's are still fresh in my mind.
ABBA The Carpenters Bee Gees On my own, I spend most of my time with 16 cats, reading various kind of books, attending enrichment classes and volunteering work at the mosque, I also enjoyed leisure bicycle riding along East Coast beach with my nieces and nephews on the weekends.
